Thank you Rusty for a copy of your "Good Morning Glory" CD! Yesterday aboard the cruise ship Golden Princess Rusty was kind enough to give a complimentary copy of his CD to each of the military veterans who had gathered for a meet and greet. Take care.

Don't listen to country much. But I watch rfdtv as I am old and hope to retire and be able to buy some small bit of land and farm it in a state that still honors our foundation of God and country. On the show I watched you did the song about going through dads trunk. I lost dad in 2004 and then mom in 2007. It never hit so much until mom was gone. They were mom and dad together or separate. They taught us who God was and what the big thing to life is and I tried to show and reach my kids that too tho I swear they're thicker headed than I was. Lots to be praying for and I find my dads shoes are still to big for me most days. I'm a tough guy, but your song brings tears. I miss my dad and mom so much. God bless you and your family. Your family has much to be proud of!

My kids have talked about you for months as they attend Cowboy Church of Augusta, KS with their father and step-mother. I finally got to put a voice with their compliments last night and have to say, I agree, you are great. You were singing my favorite song I Can Only Imagine when I arrived to pick up the kiddos. Thanks for lifting the kids' spirits and giving them wholesome music to enjoy.

August 12, 2012

Hi Rusty, I am the silverhaired lady you helped set up on stage in Bushton, Ks. I did not get the opportunity to visit with you after your show to tell you how much I appreciated your help to all of the musicians who who played before you went on. We very much appreciated your letting us use your equipment too.
Your concert was fantastic and I think every resident of Bushton was there as well as some "out of towners".
I liked you so much that I am going to recommend to the Ellsworth, Kansas Cowtown committee that you be our main entertainer for next year's Cowtown festival in September.
If not 2013, perhaps 2014. Have a great time in Alaska; wish i could go along. LOL
AndI hope you continue to entertain as many years as I have. I started in 1963 and am still as a single act then was in a country band for many years. I also love bluegrass and jam often with b.g. musicians, playing my resophonic guitar as well as the autoharp.
I love Appalacian music and put on programs of folk songs and folk jokes, ending my program with some buck dancing. I am 83 years young and still kicking but not quite as high. LOL
Sincerely, Pauline Zvolanek

Rusty...I wanted you to know what a pleasure it was processing your Drivers License in El Dorado a few weeks ago. You are a great young man. I've really enjoyed the cd's. My favorite song is "I Pray" You think of me someday when you're changing your Drivers License to TN when you get big and move to Nashville. LOL! God Bless you and keep you safe and happy!!! Let me know when you will be playing somewhere close to home. Best Wishes to you!!!

July 22, 2012

I am a member of ABT in Anchorage Alaska. We enjoyed your performances and I hope you will come back to our church when you're rich and famous. Keep up what your doing God has a great plan for your future.

My great grandmother is from Kansas. She and her twin sister were born in a mill. IDK what mill in the early 1900's, but their names are on a plaque, if the mill still stands. Annabelle and Maebelle, don't those sound like some country Kansas names. LOL. God Bless You, we will be praying for you and your ministry.

Denise Zirkle

July 22, 2012

Rusty, It was SO nice meeting you today here at Cowboy Church in Anchorage and I am SO loving your music. We will definitely push the cruise to friends of ours in OH and elsewhere who want to visit Alaska. It will be an awesome way to see the 49th state and listen to great music and meet wonderful people.
I played two of your CD's while I was making lasagne for dinner on the Traeger smoker/grill and yes, it was delicious!!!!
Good luck with your music career and I hope to see you performing again some of these days. Love the humor as that puts you in the entertainer arena and not such a singer/musician. People love humor and when you play to the audience that makes you an entertainer. Steve Wright loved the song by the way you did for him. I will never think about him the same now after that song....pray for the fish...hehe
I would be very happy to do photography for your cruise...have photographed weddings, etc on cruise ships in the past. What a great way to provide a special gift for those who cruise with you and your band.

Hey Rusty, wasn't sure if you got the lyrics i sent to you on facebook so here they are:

Allow me a minute and I'll tell you where im from:

America's heartland where the prairie goes for miles and then some-

It's the Prairie we call Pretty,

far more beautiful than the bright lights of the big city-

Where the grass fields are glowin with fireflies,

and an encouraging word will bring tears to even a grown man's eyes-

Where all we have is rodeo and friday nights,

when the local boys strap up beneath them autumn lights-

Where the home bleachers stomp and scream and cheer,

in my ears they still ring; man those were the best four years-

Where we break our backs just to make a little cash,

we never need help but we get it anyway; no questions asked-

Where we bow our heads and pray to Jesus,

when even an answered prayer doesn't always please us-

Where we learn to take misfortune and blessing hand in hand,

keeping the Faith and knowing when to take a stand-

Where country music speaks straight to the heart,

and if you wanna know more thats a good place to start-

If the Kansas Largest Night ever catches your eye,

be sure to swing by and watch the cowboys ride-

Maybe sit and watch the sunset fade into the night sky,

where the harvest moon rises, where the angels fly-

Wake up and paddle down the Ninnescah,

use your hands and catch the biggest catfish you ever saw-

Let my words be only just a taste,

if you ever make it down it wont be any time you waste-

Until then we'll be back to our everyday lives,

awaiting the day you swing in and we change Your life

Dr. D......
